Devecure Range Of Curing Compound

Ashtech brings a extensive range of curing compounds to enhance the concrete and mortars by preventing shrinkage cracks and reducing the evaporation of water from the concrete. A curing compound should be applied as soon as bleed water ceases to collect on the pavement surface, maintaining satisfactory temperature and moisture conditions in the concrete long enough for hydration to develop the desired concrete properties. The potential strength and durability of concrete can be achieved only if concrete is properly cured.

Devecure CA

DEVECURE CA is Acrylic based curing compound for spraying on freshly cast concrete, or newly exposed concrete surfaces after removal of form work, to form a non membrane temporary coating which will retain sufficient moisture by filling the pin holes for effective curing to take place. Used for concreting generally but especially useful for large areas of concrete such as pavements, runways and bridge decks; also for vertical or sloping surfaces as on towers, chimneys, canal linings, columns and beams, where water curing is difficult or unreliable. Any post application of plaster, gypsum is possible without removing the layer of Devecure CA.

Devecure WT

DEVECURE WT is a low viscosity wax emulsion which incorporates a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system. It is supplied as a white emulsion which forms a clear film on drying. This system ensures that the emulsion breaks down to form a non-penetrating continuous film immediately upon contact with a cementitious surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability.
